Anaimudi is one of the major tourist attractions in Munnar. It is considered to be the highest peak in Western Ghats having an elevation of 8,842 ft. Mattupetty is thirteen kilometers away from Munnar. It is situated at a height of one thousand and seven hundred meters. Mattupetty homes a stone dam for storage and a resulting wlake. Boat rides can be had in the lake, enjoying the surrounding hills and landscape. There is also a diary farm consisting of high yielding cows, run by Indo-Swiss livestock project. Mattupetty is a picturesque spots with emerald green tea plantations, rolling grasslands and exotic Shola forests, making the spot ideal for trekking..

Chinnakanal has a waterfall which cascade down a steep rock two thousand meters above sea level. The spot offers a scenic view of Western Ghats range.
